PWL GROUP MANAGEMENT SUCCESSION - THE 3RD GENERATION SETS THE COURSE FOR THE FUTURE

Coraly von Georg joins the management of the PWL Group and leads the company into the 3rd generation with Christian Koopmann. The successful succession ensures the continuity of the PWL Group, an established service provider in the fields of maritime and international logistics. 

BREMEN, 01.11.2023 – The family-run PWL Group, headquartered in Bremen and Hamburg, is proud to announce that Coraly von Georg has joined the group of shareholders and will take over the management together with Christian Koopmann as from January 2024. Christian von Georg, who has managed the company together with Christian and Peter Koopmann since 2001, is stepping down from his operational management role and moves to the PWL Group Advisory Board.

CONTINUITY AND INNOVATION UNDER NEW LEADERSHIP
Coraly von Georg has already been working successfully as Head of Corporate Development in the PWL Group since May 2021. She is a qualified shipping merchant and holds a Master of Finance. Before joining the PWL Group, she worked for an internationally renowned strategy consultancy.

FORWARD-LOOKING STRATEGY
Together with Christian Koopmann, Coraly von Georg will lead the group of companies, which includes PWL Shipping, PWL Port Services, PWL Worldwide Logistics and LPL Projects + Logistics, into the future. She highlights, that her “current main focus will be on business development, digitalization and corporate culture.”

A COMPANY REMAINS IN THE FAMILY
With Coraly von Georg on board, the PWL Group remains a family-run company, now entering the 3rd generation. "This is a milestone in the history of our company, and we are proud that the continuity of our business is ensured by this successful succession arrangement", says Christian Koopmann.
