HUGO STINNES SCHIFFAHRT GmbH was established in 2008 as successor company of STINNES LINIEN GmbH, Rostock.

HSS considers herself as a niche carrier, offering specific liner services, including all other related services, between North Europe, the Caribbean, Mexico and South Africa.

SANMEX

A multipurpose liner service between North Europe, the Caribbean, and Mexico on following route:

Antwerpen – Bremen – Bilbao – Rio Haina – Veracruz – Tampico – Rio Haina  – Bilbao - Antwerpen

Further ports are served subject to sufficient inducement.

Short Sea – Service:

Within the SANMEX Service transports of containers, break bulk and project cargo are offered from Antwerpen and Bremen to Bilbao

South Africa – Service

A container service between Europe and South Africa and v.v. is operated by HSS since 1998 on the following route:

Hamburg – Rotterdam – Antwerp – Le Havre - Felixstowe – Cape Town – Elizabeth – Durban - Hamburg
